China Eastern Airlines said on Wednesday it has received a CNY10 billion yuan (USD$1.46 billion) credit line from Bank of Communications that will help to ease operational difficulties.
Chinese airlines have suffered a sharp reversal of fortunes this year due to slumping passenger demand as fallout from the global credit crisis spreads.
