US Airways relaxing fees for customers affected by weather

US Airways said it will relax certain fees for customers who may have had to change travel plans as a result of December storms.
The Tempe, Ariz.-based airline (NYSE:LCC) said it will waive the standard change fee, advance reservation and ticketing requirements for customers traveling to Philadelphia and other markets between Dec. 18-20 on any US Airways, US Airways Express or US Airways codeshare flight. The airports include Albany International Airport; LaGuardia; JFK; Hartford, Conn.; Chicago; Indianapolis; Boston; Detroit; Kansas City, Mo.; St. Louis; Newark, N.J.; Newburgh, N.Y.; Rochester, N.Y.; Syracuse, N.Y.; White Plains, N.Y.; Providence, R.I.; Milwaukee; Toronto and Montreal.
US Airways encouraged customers to check flight status at usairways.com or calling (800) 428-4322, or by texting their flight number to TEXTUS before arriving at the airport
